We’re taking off on an adventure and restyling mama.film’s exhibition arm as a nomadic cinema experience and taking the show on the road to partner with mission-aligned organizations, bring unique on-screen encounters for audiences locally, regionally, and nationally.

  • Short Film Series in collaboration with Wichita Public Library’s Big Read (March 5 – various WPL Branches)

    Inspired by The House on Mango Street with Guest Programmers from WSU Office of Diversity & Inclusion’s Phenomenal Women

  • Mise en Scene | Mise en Place (September of 2022 – Date TBA)

    Our food-on-film program originally planned for 2020, will debut in Wichita in September of 2022 (date TBA), with Guest Programmer Eric Moore of American Film Institute (AFI) Festivals. Borrowing its name from the French terms "mise en scene" (setting the scene in a movie) and "mise en place” (the preparation and organization of ingredients in a kitchen), join us as we discover culture, identity and flavor through cinema and cuisine.

  • rePRO 2022 (year-round online + NYC – Wichita – Los Angeles – TBA)

    A year-long celebration of short film and advocacy along with three (3) in-person events.

Since 2019, mama.film has screened more than 80 films.
